Alexandria Peretiako earned medalist honors with a round of 43 at Santa Barbara Golf Club on Tuesday, but it wasn’t enough to get the San Marcos girls golf team its first win in a 295-270 decision against visiting Buena.
“It’s a little disappointing but sometimes you need to take a few steps back before you can move forward and I hope that is where we are today,” said coach Shawn Ricci.
The Royals are 0-4 on the year.
