SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Led by UCSB men's volleyball head coach Rick McLaughlin, the U.S. Men's A2 Volleyball Team won its third straight Pan American Cup title on Saturday as it swept Argentina in the gold medal match, 25-23, 25-21, 30-28, at Roberto Clemente Coliseum.The U.S. won the tournament with a 5-0 record. Traveling all over the world to play in pro beach volleyball tournaments is starting to look like a trip down to Santa Barbara’s East Beach for Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser.The local pair won its third Swatch-FIVB World Tour event on Sunday, beating Spain’s Adrian Gavira and Pablo Herrera in the final at the $190,000 Myslowice Open in Poland. Arguably the biggest "The Big Game" of them all is finally on the doorstep, set to kickoff in 24 hours.
