For the second year in a row, the Carpinteria Warriors faced off the Havoc from North Oxnard in Beach Cup in the boys under 16 championship match. 2009 belonged to the Havoc while this year the Warriors took the cup.The Carpinteria Warriors, coached by Mario Carrasco and Ron Peñate, beat North Oxnard 3-0 in penalty shots after being tied 1-1 in regulation time. Kailey Snyder used her arm and bat to spark SBCC to a 6-1 softball win over Saddleback on Sunday and the Vaqueros went on to capture their own Bash at the Beach tournament despite losing the afternoon game to L.A. The UCSB men's tennis team ended its four-game home stand with a 7-0 sweep against Dartmouth.To begin the match, the Gauchos swept the Big Green in doubles to lock down the doubles point.
