Maddy Brooks scored a pair of goals as the Carpinteria girls water polo team broke a 1-1 halftime tie by scoring four goals in the third quarter, beating visiting Villanova 6-3 on Friday.“I finally got my girls to start shooting from the perimeter. It was a close pair of dual meets for the UCSB men and women's swim teams this Friday as the Gauchos faced UC Davis on the road at Schaal Aquatics Center.
