It's 9:00 a.m. and the alarm goes off for one local UCSB student.He is different from most of his fellow students at UCSB because most would whine about having to wake up so early on a Sunday morning but not him.Nine is sleeping in for him because his alarm is usually going off at 5 a.m. to the annoyance of his roommates. Defending CIF champion Besant Hill overwhelmed visiting Laguna Blanca in the post on Saturday night, handing the Owls a 91-57 loss.Luther Tarver-Burks had 29 points and Logan Elder hit four treys en route to 16 points, but Besant Hill's Yannick Atanga and Francois Tchoyi were too much down low, getting easy putbacks. Fueled by the offense of the Cannon twins, SBCC opened its softball season with a 24-run eruption on Saturday in a sweep of Foothill at Pershing Park.
