In the final meet of 2010, the UC Santa Barbara men's and women's swim team defeated visiting West Virginia in a dual at Campus Pool on Friday afternoon. Weiner gives Gauchos second life in victory

Buzzer-beaters are exciting by nature and Jordan Weiner's was pretty good even by those standards.Weiner's running, catch-and-shoot reverse layup saved UCSB's men's basketball team from falling to NAIA school Fresno Pacific on Friday. Santa Barbara had a tying goal disallowed in the final seconds of regulation and missed a chance to reach the semifinals at the Newport Holiday Cup girls water polo tournament on Thursday.The Dons fell 5-4 to Laguna Beach in their second game of the day.
