The Laguna Blanca girls volleyball team maintained its dominance over the Condor League this season, posting a 25-15, 25-17, 25-15 sweep at Cate on Halloween.
The Owls, 5-0 in league, haven’t dropped a set in those five wins. Laguna, owners of a six-match win streak, close out the season at Dunn on Wednesday.
Cate can clinch second place in league on Wednesday if it beats Thacher for a second time this season.
“We put up a good fight,” said Rams coach Dan Terry, who highlighted the five blocks from Sarah Martzhoff and the four kills from Addison Mayfield.
Cate’s record stands at 6-4 overall, 3-2 in the Condor League.
