Contrary to Mr. Clinton says, there were no instructions that we could find in the email. Even if there were, it makes no sense after he ran out of chalk to not post someone at the turnaround. If it were that close to the water station, a volunteer could have easily gone up their. My son was one of the runners in the top 5 or 6 that missed the turn and ran an extra 1.1 miles. I let the volunteers at the turn not that there were some pi$$ed off runners and could not understand how that could happen. Mr. Clinton just needs to say it was my error period and stop with the nonsense about the cones and emails. Another glaring issue and oversight was the fact that there were no bathrooms open at the start of the race. How do you have a race with 300+ people and no bathrooms? The race started 3 minutes early with several folks still in line at a coffee shop waiting to use the rest rooms. I realize this is not a huge race, but a little organization goes a long way. Congratulations to Mr. Forte for his great run, and great job by all the runners that made it through this very difficult course. Sorry for those of you that ran the extra distance and were told "Oh Well, It was in the email."
