INDIANAPOLIS – UCSB was one of 18 institutions or conferences which was selected by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to receive a women’s basketball grant as part of the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Grant Program, which is in its second year. MLB Draft picks off record nine Gauchos

Three more UCSB baseball players were chosen on the third day of Major League Baseball's First Year player draft, bringing the total number of Gauchos picked to nine, which sets a record for most draft picks taken from UCSB in a single draft. It’s not often you see nine errors committed in a baseball game. Two days in a row? That’s just plain bizarre.
