Senior second baseman Christine Ramos and freshman pitcher Krista Cobb parlayed big weekends into weekly honors as Ramos was named the Big West Player of the Week, while Cobb claimed Big West Pitcher of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks.Ramos was the catalyst for a hot Gaucho offense at the Cathedral City Classic last weekend. David Lane and Richard Somdah of SBCC have been named to the first-team All-WSC North Division men's basketball squad.Lane, a freshman guard from Akron, Ohio, was the third-leading scorer in the WSC at 18.4, second in assists at 5.4 and fourth in steals at 2.0.
