Loss to Northridge brings end to UCSB’s four-game winning streak

Despite playing one of its best defensive games of the season, UC Santa Barbara could not hold a 13-point second half lead and dropped a 62-57 decision at Cal State Northridge on Wednesday night. The UCSB women’s basketball team looked pretty in pink Tuesday night through its efforts to raise breast cancer awareness, but the Gauchos were left blue after a 70-51 loss at home to Oregon State.While the Gauchos racked up a school-record record 12 blocks, they also gave 14 turnovers to the Beavers and were out-rebounded 38-26.
