“We couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn,” said coach Bryan Rodriguez after Cate’s 63-27 loss to visiting Kilpatrick on Friday night.
Vladimir Vilsaint hit four treys and scored 15 points, but the Rams (1-5, 0-1 Condor League) fell victim to superior rebounding abilities by Kilpatrick (2-10), which had a considerable size advantage.
Cate plays at Dunn on Wednesday.
